Patterson Interior Project

This lovely family was wanting to modernize their 20 year old home, and create a more open concept kitchen area that included the family room and dining room. In order to do this, the dividing wall between the existing kitchen and dining room was removed to create the open look; challenges included re-locating existing heat runs in the wall that serviced the floor above. We increased the heights of the windows in the kitchen bay area in order to take advantage of the view in the backyard, a secondary island was built adjacent to the kitchen bay, eliminating the need for a traditional kitchen table. Custom cabinets were also built in the dinning room cantilever to tie both rooms together.
